Version 1.0.5

- When Aeyr levels up high enough to learn a Revenant skill before he actually becomes a Revenant, the learned skill list on the level up menu will no longer include that Revenant skill. Aeyr will still learn the skill and it will be available when he becomes a Revenant; it just won't be displayed on the "New Skills" list when he levels up before the transformation.
- Going back to Forsaken Fortress right before fighting the boss in the Caustic Grave can cause you to soft lock the game by trapping you in a story room you've already been inside. This has been fixed.
- Various grammar and typo fixes.

Got PotF's known trope count to 230! Enemies are so unique, they're hard to trope their uniquenesses! Fun!

EDIT: Mia's Guiding Light doesn't seem to be working in combination with the removal of Panic at end of turn, at least in the final battle?

...

Unwilling Hero doesn't remove Panic.

...

Are Daigo's Elemental Swords supposed to stop casting elemental magic after a while?
-----

Checking out the Solar Blade and Lunar Crasher, all that nice sun and moon theming...

Nice use of En-words for the elemental Fangs! Engulfed in fire, Encased in ice, Enwreathed in electricity, but Gaia Fang uses Covered instead. Ah well. Maybe you could use Encased, so there's parallels between the Solar and Lunar?

Anyway, downloaded the latest version, so I'm sure these typos are the version with a game.ini last modified on July 3rd:

Lunar Crasher's Thunder Fang:

elecricity > electricity

...

Aeyr's Death Wish:

Add's > Adds

...
Luke's Battle Tactics:

Luke hold > Luke holds
...

Emotional Afflictions Guide:

at the end of after battle > at the end of battle

...

Raider's Blade doesn't need to say that it's Slash, twice?

...
Joy doesn't mention that it boosts HP? Or does it boost HP and saying it boosts SP is wrong?

The leftmost locked door on the Passenger Floor after Aeyr and Mia reunite says "Locked" instead of "Locked."

Sorry for the late response! Super excited for the reminder that PotF has a TVTropes page!

"Mia's Guiding Light doesn't seem to be working in combination with the removal of Panic at end of turn, at least in the final battle?"

In general, new emotional afflictions shouldn't overwrite existing ones, and Joy is no exception. So her not getting Joy in that situation is correct if she still has Panic.

"Unwilling Hero doesn't remove Panic."

It's not supposed to. Where do you see that it removed Panic state? All the skill description states is that the party will be healed. That just refers to the party's HP.

"Are Daigo's Elemental Swords supposed to stop casting elemental magic after a while?"

No, but if they don't have the SP to cast a skill, they'll default to basic attacks like every other enemy in the game. That may have been what happened in your case.

"Nice use of En-words for the elemental Fangs!"

That, uh, wasn't intentional lol. I was just looking for appropriate words to describe the states, but them having similar sounding verbs is a complete coincidence.

Thanks for the typo reports! I'll take a look at those.

You're welcome for the reports, and glad to remind you!

Ah. I kept ending the Unforgiven fights in two Mia attacks, so I didn't make the connection that only Sheathing with Sheathe removes Panic. Failure of reading comprehension and forgetting the Mia combat basics!

Checking the Daigo fight, but IIRC Flumen and Terra never launched elemental attacks. I've seen Aeros Thunder, Ignis Volcano, Divinus Judgment.

Finally saw Demon Grip from Tenebris, which isn't magic, but is at least Dark?

Are Flumen and Terra's unique attacks, the special weapon-elemental moves I saw from them? Like Terra's Chaos Slasher and Flumen's Ghost Edge? Because those aren't elemental...

Their Melts might cost too much for their 16 SP per turn regen to let them do anything else, especially since they only get 25SP back from Soul Infusion. ... Unless I figure out how to get Divinus to toss them a Soothing Light?

And Swords can't feel emotions. Huh.

"Checking the Daigo fight, but IIRC Flumen and Terra never launched elemental attacks"

Flumen and Terra have Frigid Grave and Explosion, respectively. Admittedly, there isn't much logic to determine which skill is used when for the swords, so it may be luck (or lack of, lol) that you haven't seen them yet.

"Finally saw Demon Grip from Tenebris, which isn't magic, but is at least Dark?"

Demon's Grip is, in fact, a magic skill.

"Their Melts might cost too much for their 16 SP per turn regen to let them do anything else, especially since they only get 25SP back from Soul Infusion. ... Unless I figure out how to get Divinus to toss them a Soothing Light?"

The melt skills have universal SP cost no matter who uses it because enemies and allies operate by the same skill cost rules. I could increase the max SP of the swords, but I left it the way I did because I didn't want players getting so overwhelmed by the swords that they couldn't focus on the boss. The boss fight is a test of  the player's crowd control capabilities, so making the sword's AI too complex would cause players to focus less on crowd control and more on fighting individual swords.

"And Swords can't feel emotions. Huh."

Well, they are inanimate objects, lol. They're also immune to physical injuries like bleed, blind, etc. because they lack the components that those injuries would affect.

All my questions have been answered and stuff! Have fun doing whatever!

I didn't notice Demon Grip's icon in the dark red moments, so I thought it had none, making it some Null element attack!

I saw Frigid Grave at last!

NoteToSelf: Ignis uses Fury Slasher, whatever that is. So many moves, and I haven't even examined the Drowning Fortress enemies. Total trope count gotta be >250.

Woo! Thanks for the update!

Glad to help! I'll continue to post more bug fixes as they are reported!
